Play, Learn, Build in the STEM City Kansas City Metaverse

Winners Announced Thursday, August 24, 2023, during the
8th Annual Avant Garde Gala Featuring Dr. Mae Jemison

The EnVision Innovation Stadium Design Challenge is a contest for students in grades 6 - 12.
Students will apply the engineering design process by going through the process of taking the dreams of building a new stadium from concept to reality.
Students earn points by completing the 9 Levels that lead the student the process of planning, design, prototyping, building, and innovating.
Finally, the students present their final stadium design project.

What are the Rules?

​•Students Earn Points by Completing Each Inning of the 9 Inning Challenge
•Students Earn Points by the Completing the 12 STEM Career Pathway Explorations
•Students Earn Points by competing in at least One of the Elite Gaming Live eSPORTS Events

What is the 9 Inning Challenge?

• Top of the 1st:   
• ​150 pts. - See Kick-Off Video and Visit STEM City KC Metaverse    
• Top of the 2nd:
• ​90 pts. - iNSL T.E.A.M.S. Planning Phase I         
• Top of the 3rd: 
• ​2,500 pts. - IC3 GS6 Digital Literacy & EGL STEM Career Exploration
• Top of the 4th: 
• ​2,400 pts. - iNSL T.E.A.M.S. Peripherals Phase II                               
• Top of the 5th: 
• ​3,000 pts. - Elevator Pitch for Investors (essay) 
• Top of the 6th: 
• 1,000 pts. - EGL STEM Career Exploration Level 200   ​              

• Bottom of the 1st:
• 2,000 pts. - Set-Up Accounts
• ​Bottom of the 2nd: 
• 350 pts. - iNSL T.E.A.M.S. Planning Phase II
• ​Bottom of the 3rd: 
• 400 pts. - iNSL T.E.A.M.S. Peripherals Phase I
• ​Bottom of the 4th: 
• 3,000 pts. - Stadium Financing, Public or Private (essay)

• 1,500 pts. - Let's Learn 3D Modeling with SketchUp

                    and Submit Stadium Model, Executive Summary
