Its mission is to empower individuals—especially from underserved, underrepresented, and low-to-moderate income communities—to thrive in the digital economy through education, certification, and career pathways.

RedTails TechFORCE is part of aSTEAM Village’s broader mission to create digital economies in urban and rural America by combining education, workforce development, and community empowerment. We emphasize data-driven decision-making, open data modeling, and virtualization/visualization technologies to prepare participants for the 21st-century knowledge economy.
Core Objectives
- Digital Literacy & Certification: Participants complete IC3 GS6 Levels I, II, & III courses, earning industry-recognized certifications.
- Career Pathways:
- IT & Computer Science: Includes CompTIA A+ training and certification.
- Skilled Trades: Options include Solar, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Facilities Management, Multi-Family Maintenance, Appliances, and Commercial HVAC.
- Entrepreneurship & College Readiness: Prepares learners for both employment and business ownership in tech-driven industries.
Program Features
- Duration: 8-week bootcamp with structured online and in-person sessions.
- No Diploma Required: Open to all learners, including those without a high school diploma.
- Benefits:
- Access to community computer labs to complete work.
- Scholarship or sponsor funding available through third-party vendors or agencies. aSTEAM Village does not provide direct funding or scholarships.
